New Orleans

Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. was founded in the City of New Orleans in 1910 in the historic French Quarter.  The firm moved to its current location in the Mid-City neighborhood in 1963.

BKI’s New Orleans location houses the firm’s executive offices as well as a number of technical divisions.  The staff based in New Orleans serves a broad geographical area in Louisiana and neighboring states, and supports many of the functions provided in other BKI locations.

The New Orleans Mid-City office building was designated as a local historic landmark in 2010.  This building sustained severe damage during and following Hurricane Katrina; however, BKI was one of the first companies to rebuild and reopen an office in post-Katrina New Orleans.
