RECREATION FACILITIES
BKI’s integrated team of planners and engineers has been responsible for creating the concepts and implementing the infrastructure for numerous recreational facility sites across the southeastern U.S. Projects vary in size and complexity, ranging from recreation assessments to major regional parks. Included in this experience are master plans and engineering design of urban spaces, waterfront corridors, sports fields, boat launches and marinas, bike and pedestrian facilities, and structures and pavilions. This planning and design capability is completed by the ability to host effective public participation programs that target specific community needs and preferences.
